🤖Spotlight on AI Tools
Main Differences
AutoGPT is an open-source AI project built on ChatGPT's Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT). The main difference between AutoGPT and ChatGPT lies in their autonomy. AutoGPT gives GPT the ability to act autonomously without requiring a human agent to prompt its every action. This means that AutoGPT can make decisions and take actions on its own, while ChatGPT relies on human prompts to accomplish tasks.
AutoGPT replaces human agents with AI agents, giving it some semblance of decision-making powers. This allows AutoGPT to self-prompt and tackle tasks more efficiently than ChatGPT. For example, when planning a birthday party, AutoGPT could potentially handle every aspect of the planning process, from sending invitations to ordering gifts, without requiring constant human input.
Applications and Future Implications: AutoGPT is still an experimental project, but its potential applications are vast. From creating podcasts to building automated investment analysts, AutoGPT offers a glimpse into the future of AI and its capabilities. As the technology continues to develop, we can expect to see more advanced AI personal assistants that can perform tasks and make decisions on our behalf.
We put AutoGPT to the test
I tried it out and so far i’m really impressed. It’s still in Beta and it's not free. You don’t get much for 6euros, only about 20 inputs. Not sure howe the credits is used, if it’s input, output or both.

Conclusion
The differences between AutoGPT and ChatGPT highlight the rapid advancements in AI technology. I tried it out and think it is a sneak peak on just wats around the corner on AI. As AI continues to evolve, we can expect to see more powerful and autonomous AI personal assistants that can make our lives as teachers easier and more efficient.
